So this happened a few nights ago. I saw Alejandro Jordorowsky’s new film, La Danza De Realidad, which was introduced by Nicolas Winding Refn and I sat seven seats away from Agnes Varda and pretty much died that night.

Jodorowsky’s Dune is playing here. I’d rather watch that than the new Coen bros new movie tbh.

I’m on my iPhone and iPad trying to look important right now…

Beautiful sunny day in Cannes after the past two days of rain. This is me bragging sorry.

So glad Only Lovers Left Alive is playing here because I need Tilda Swinton as a vampire in my life.

Jeune Et Jolie was terrible. The little bits of comedy spread throughout the film were the only good thing about it. It was vapid. A male fantasy of what a young woman coming of age film should be, filled with prostitution and a boring, flat, female lead and pretty much every other character. Not to mention the scenes where shes either having sex or is topless are completely pointless and add nothing to the film. There are no shocking imagery, more of a trope of everything that happens in porn with a “French art house” stamp labeled on to it. My friend loved the film and told me that “it takes balls to make a film like that,” he’s right all you have to do is have balls to make something extremely pointless to pass it as “art” and be praised for contributing absolutely nothing to the film industry.

Woah! 15 euros a shot... Please look carefully, here in Spain shots are usually 1 euro or 2... I dunno in the US or France but here people drink underage in bars and stuff... we're *that* cool.

It’s just because I’m at Cannes and it was at a five star hotel. Last night I got a 18 euro shot of 12 year old whiskey and even though it was the cheapest thing on the menu it was amazing. My friend payed 25 euros for jack Daniels last night too. Shits expensive here. I think that’s about how much it is in the US, idk though because I’ve never been to a bar in the US because I’m underage and most places card. But I’ve learned that people don’t card in France which is cool.

Oh, I just read... Yeah, France... pretty expensive over there and now it's cannes festival... watch out and enjoy!

It was actually 2 euros I just did my math very very wrong. I did spend 15 euros yesterday on a shot of whiskey. Worse decision tho because I’m not a whiskey person. But I can legally drink which is awesome.

Didn’t like The Great Gatsby btw. Carey Mulligan didn’t even save that mess.

Did I just pay 8 euros for a coffee? These people should label their shit!

What should I try and watch tomorrow, The Bling Ring or Heli aka the only Mexican film in competition that will most likely be harder to watch in the states rather than The Bling Ring which is an America film and will get a wider release because of Emma Watson.

If you listen carefully you can hear the sound of me falling in love with Carey Mulligan.

Honestly though thank god for free wifi, I’m just hanging out at the American pavilion because there’s free wifi and free soda.
